Please help.Does anyone know if you go to a correctional facility do u still recieve methadone treatment?

I don’t think it depends on where you live I think it narrows done to the facility that they go to
I hope for them that they do still get treatment because without it you’re pretty much screwed

It seems only a few to no places support Methadone Treatment, your friend better make sure she brings up the MMT problem before she gets sent there. The probability she will may increase, since it’s a correctional facility, and depending on how close to a recovery clinic it may be.

I was put in jail and the end of my methadone days and was given a 21 day detox with methadone from my clinic. This is rare and most times the methadone addict has to suffer. This may be slowly changing but not fast enough. Addicts can die during methadone withdrawals, especially is they have underlying health conditions.
