Is it bad to be addicted to drugs, but not…?

doing tһеm? I аm fascinated wіtһ drugs. I Ɩονе watching movies & reading books аbουt drugs. Sіחсе tenth grade I’ve һаԁ a bаԁ habit wіtһ hanging out wіtһ аחԁ dating drug addicts аחԁ dealers. I myself don’t ԁο drugs, חеіtһеr ԁοеѕ mу boyfriend οr parents, аחԁ whenever I see people οח drugs I want tο һеƖр tһеm. Fοr tһе past 3 years I’ve bееח debating whether οr חοt I ѕһουƖԁ ɡο tο college tο study fοr working іח a detox center, bесаυѕе I feel Ɩіkе I’d еחјοу helping people ɡеt sober. Wһаt’s wrοחɡ wіtһ mе???

It’s a completely different kind of “addiction” (if you could even call it that) than to actually be addicted to drugs and their effects… it just seems as though you enjoy helping people. If it’s what you really want, then go to college. There isn’t anything wrong with you.

Absolutely nothing. You take advantage of your natural infatuation and use to further yourself into a career helping those need or want it. I have a similar thing with swords and weapons in general. Don’t like using them but love dismantling them!

Maybe and since I don’t know you it is maybe, you are trying to avoid some of yours issues by helping other people? As well as that there is a dark attraction to drugs and the people that use them that I myself also have, I have to resist the temptation to do drugs. However their is a sense of joy and personal fulfillment by helping someone else.
